Spring Cleaning....ORGANIZE

So, during my spring break I didn't just sit around and eat bon bons all day. I had a list everyday of things I needed to get finished and accomplished EVERYTHING. I was super proud of myself and excited about the way everything turned out. I wanted to share these things with you. I first started out with a cleaning day on Monday and just attached every closet and every bedroom in the house. Then on Tuesday, I began organizing closets. On Wednesday Stephen had the day off and we worked in the yard and went bicycling. Then on to Thursday I continued on with labeling and finishing up organizing. On Friday, I had a yard sale! I sold pretty much everything I cleaned out of our closets and made $200.00!! I was super proud of my successful week! Stephen could not have been more proud of me if I do say so myself. :)

Easter

Easter was at our house. Our family came up from AL and it was FABULOUS. The kids has grown up so much. We hunted eggs, ate a marvelous dinner and then the boys played some volleyball. The day was pretty much amazing. Although, the night ended with my dad going to the ER because he pulled a muscle in his leg. Everyone is always telling him he's getting too old to play volleyball, but I'm pretty sure he won't ever quit. What a wonderful way to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord!!

Trip to AL

Well, on Friday we headed down to Alabama to celebrate Lawson's birthday. We stopped in Knoxville to pick up the beloved Zabrina so that Jeff would have someone to ride home with after purchasing his new "baby." We all had a fabulous time. Alabama is beautiful---not to mention his school! HOLY COW. I would pack up and move if I were offered a job there. SERIOUSLY! Anything you could ever want right in your backyard. Two TJMaxxs within 10 miles of each other- I was amazed. The Aunt and Uncle's house is beautiful and the location is gorgeous! All in all we had a great time and we were glad that we could drive down to celebrate with Lawson. I can't believe he's 6! The pictures are coming---I left my camera at school again or I would upload them now.

Food, Family, and Fun!!

Our Thanksgiving was most definitely filled with LOTS of food, family and tons of fun!! We both enjoyed seeing our families, especially those who we do not see that often. Most importantly, we enjoyed spending the long weekend together. Throughout the long work week, we are both so busy, it is often difficult to relax with each other and discuss our dreams and aspirations. So, this past Thanksgiving- I was most thankful for being able to spend time with my family, and with Stephen whom I am most thankful for. He's my rock, and my biggest support system. I am nothing without him.

Thanksgiving!

Oh I am so excited about the upcoming holidays! Everything about Thanksgiving makes me get so excited that it's difficult to get a good night's sleep (seriously). I love the smells, the family and friends, the half day at school when my kids are super excited, being able to wake up with my husband on Thanksgiving morning and cook him breakfast and watch the Thanksgiving Day parade in my pajamas, and this year and I especially excited and OVERJOYED that my family from Alabama are coming!! I have not seen them since Labor Day due to sickness, so I'm about to explode! We also cannot forget about the black Friday shopping!! I'm just looking forward to do much fun next week!! I have so much to be thankful for!
