Love is

"Love bears all things,

believes all things,

hopes all things,

endures all things." (1 Corinthians 13:7-8)

My Happily Ever After

On December 22, 2006, I was patiently waiting for my PRAXIS II test scores to come in the mail and I was so scared that I might have to take them again, which would make me sick. After I got home from getting a massage I went through the mail to find that my test scores had come. I hesitantly opened them up, expecting the worst, only to find that I PASSED THEM BOTH! I did very well and automatically called Stephen at work. I told him that the only thing that would make my day better would be for him to ask me to be his wife, and he just kinda blew it off like no big deal.

Well, we had had plans to go on a date the whole week and he told me that he was going to take me to The Chop House (MY FAV) to celebrate my good grades for the semester and my awesome PRAXIS scores, so I got ready and we went out to eat. We were going to a 9:50 movie to see The Holiday and we got done eating at 8:15 and thought we would just go back to my house and wait until the movie started. On our way back to my house, Stephen pulled over at the Riverwalk (where we love to go walking at night) and told me to get out of the car and close my eyes. I did what I was told and walked with my eyes closed for what seemed like FOREVER, until we came to a gazebo.

I opened my eyes and he gave me a snow leopard (Kentlea) and I said "awh she's precious...thanks"and started walking away like I thought that was it. Well, Stephen said "no, Kentlea has something to say but you have to find the sound." So I was pressing her everywhere and finally, I pressed her right arm and heard "Jennifer Lea Reed, I love you with all my heart and I want you to be my wife, will you please marry me?" I looked up to find that he got down on one knee and pulled the box out of his pocket with the ring inside and then asked me again in person. Before he could get finished I put my hand out and said" I WILL!" I cried one little tear...but that's pretty good, because I'm not much of a crier, but he made my dreams come true!

I immediately asked him...so is July 7th, 2007 ok with you?
He was said "absolutely honey." The entire walk back we just talked about everything and how special it was and it will be to call each other fiance!! Then we went home and told her parents and then my grandparents came over too. I called everyone and text everyone I could!! We did'nt make it to the movies that night...but that's alright. We were both way too excited to sit still. Stephen then said "well, if you get a ring I get a frosty," so we went to Wendys later on that night and got frostys to celebrate and  talked about our future together. I could not wait to be Mrs. Jennifer Huskey!! :)
